Financial Aid Overview
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ students to support their investment in their continuing education. Students do not have to be in a low-income category to qualify, but they do need to apply to be considered for financial aid.
Students applying for financial aid of any kind must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online at . List 91¶ÌÊÓƵ University on the FAFSA using 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's Title IV code: 003804. Only domestic and permanent residents are eligible for financial aid through the FAFSA. The 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Financial Aid Office (509.777.3215) is eager to assist you in determining the best way to fund your education.
Scholarships
91¶ÌÊÓƵ offers a limited number of scholarships for adult degree students. Students must apply to be considered. For application information, visit Scholarships for Adult Degree Students.
Grants
Grants from the federal or state government are considered need-based aid, and students must fill out the FAFSA to determine eligibility. Find out more information on available grants here.
Loans
Loans can give you an opportunity to defer part of the cost of your education by borrowing now and repaying later at a reduced rate of interest. Find out more information on available loans here.
Employer Assistance
Check with your employer about tuition benefits. Even if your company does not have a formal policy of paying tuition benefits, some of our students have received education benefits by showing their supervisors the value their education will bring to the company.
If you have tuition benefits through your place of employment, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ will accept payment when your company pays, usually at the end of the term. Call 509.777.3209 or contact 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Student Financial Services for details.
Military & Veterans
The Post-9/11 G.I. Bill, which offers federal benefits, is designed to provide substantial educational benefits to servicemen and women. It covers a large part of the cost of a 91¶ÌÊÓƵ degree. Click here to learn more about veteran education benefits available to you. 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's VA certifying official (509.777.3601) can assist you in determining your eligibility. The 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Financial Aid Office will then work with you to ensure that you receive the proper assistance.
Military & Veterans Scholarships & Grants offer additional support to military-connected students.
Payment Options
Payment options are available, including monthly payments with a minimal set-up fee. Contact 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Student Financial Services, at stuaccts@whitworth.edu, for information.
